Ryan Hughes – National Key Account Manager – Think Timber

From a young age, the timber staircase sector has been a huge part of Ryan’s life, as his entire family has upheld careers in the staircase industry. Following his family’s legacy, Ryan took the first step of his career joining the staircase industry at the age of 18, fresh out of college. From there on, Ryan’s love for all things timber and staircases only grew, nurtured by an inherited passion and knowledge. Having witnessed the industry’s growth over time, Ryan was determined to contribute towards its success by making the move to Think Timber in 2022.

Reminiscing on his career move, Ryan says, “For as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted to make a lasting impression in the industry and joining the Think Timber team has allowed me to do that. When I first joined, I knew we could dominate the stair world and deliver the best of the best. And now, three years later, our customer base has expanded significantly, and we’re only getting started!

“It’s not like any other business; we all share immense passion for quality and customer service. And through innovation and forward thinking, we are able to deliver the best products on the market by never looking back at yesterday, but always focusing on the future.”

Working alongside Think Timber’s Managing Director Gav Brown, Ryan is inspired every day. “Gav’s a tireless advocate for the industry and his passion rubs off on you. And now my work feels more like a hobby.”
