Gavin is the heart and soul of Think Timber. He has over 20 years of knowledge and experience within the timber trade and in particular the timber stair parts market. Since starting the business in 2008, Gavin has grown the business from its humble beginnings in a home office to where it is today, as the chosen supply partner to many of the UK’s leading timber manufacturing businesses. His vision when he first started was to provide a consultancy service-based approach, to help timber manufacturing businesses buy more efficiently. Not just in terms of the upfront product cost but looking at the overall picture. His ethos is ‘the customer has always got to be doing better than you are, that way you are always going to have a happy customer’. This simple idea is the cornerstone of all that we do at Think Timber and the benchmark which we set for ourselves.
